Stertil-Koni has expanded its network of distributors with the addition of Garage Equipment Solutions (GES), headquartered in Rensselaer, N.Y. GES specializes in vehicle equipment and service to customers in eastern New York State, Vermont, western Massachusetts, and western Connecticut.
In addition to having intimate knowledge of the territory, GES is recognized for delivering superior customer service, further aligning itself with Stertil-Koni’s business philosophy – which it calls “Koni Kare.” GES has focused on wheel service, vehicle lifts, waste oil, air, lube, and storage systems, plus service for vehicle repair shops.
Now, GES is poised to expand its presence in the demanding sector of heavy-duty vehicle lifting systems.
This isn't the first connection between the two companies. A relationship between Stertil-Koni and GES took form when founder Peter Corsi had met Ed Carr, owner of D.L. Carr, a Stertil-Koni distributor, also based in New York State. GES and D.L. Carr developed a strong association by working together on several heavy-duty vehicle lift installation projects.
“While new to Stertil-Koni, The GES Team has vast experience in the vehicle lift industry. GES President, Leon Fiacco, has a long and successful history in finance and business management,” noted Dr. Jean DellAmore, president of Stertil-Koni USA. “We are delighted to welcome Garage Equipment Solutions into the Stertil-Koni family.”
Joining Fiacco in top management at GES is its sales manager, Chris Holmes, a Marketing and Business Management major at Long Island University, C.W. Post. Holmes brings 35 years of Automotive Industry knowledge, coupled with 12 years in vehicle lift sales.
