EAVX Appoints Chief Operating Officer
EAVX, a business unit of J.B. Poindexter & Co., has appointed a new chief operating officer, Jacob Larimore. He will oversee operations and lead the company’s focus on innovation.

EAVX, a business unit of J.B. Poindexter & Co. (JBPCO), has appointed Jacob Larimore as chief operating officer to oversee all operations and lead the company’s continued focus on innovation in advanced vehicle solutions.
Larimore has been with EAVX for nearly four years, playing a pivotal role in shaping the division’s strategic direction and advancing next-generation mobility solutions.
With a strong background in engineering, innovation, and product strategy, he has led key initiatives that drive the company’s commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology into commercial vehicles.
“Jacob’s leadership has been key to building EAVX over the past four years, and we are confident his vision will push the company into its next phase of growth and innovation,” said John Poindexter, CEO and chairman of J.B. Poindexter. “As COO, he’ll keep driving EAVX’s efforts to enhance our business units' innovation capabilities and advanced vehicle technology for our customers.”
Prior to joining EAVX, Larimore held roles at Caterpillar, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and Robert Bosch – North America.
At Bosch, he served as customer chief engineer of powertrain, where he was responsible for the technical strategy of one of the world’s largest automotive accounts. Larimore holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, specializing in controls and mechatronic systems.
