The new E-Transit boasts up to 32% more range, providing an estimated 159 miles on a single charge, powered by an 89 kWh usable energy battery. This extended range opens up new possibilities for commercial fleets, including those involved in refrigerated delivery and other distance-demanding tasks.

With the enhanced range, fleet managers can confidently expand their operations while reducing their environmental footprint.

Faster Charging and Smart Van Technology

Charging the E-Transit is now quicker than ever, thanks to dual onboard chargers that deliver a 22% faster charge time when paired with Ford Pro’s 80A Series 2 charger. Integrating E-Telematics and driver assist features like the Standard Lane-Keeping System, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), and high-resolution cameras ensures fleets are more efficient and safer.

The E-Transit continues to be a cost-effective van hoice for fleets, earning Vincentric's Best Fleet Value in America title for the third consecutive year. This recognition is well-deserved, given the van’s ability to lower total ownership costs through reduced fuel, maintenance, and operating expenses. The E-Transit also supports U.S. manufacturing, with assembly at the Kansas City Assembly Plant and its enhanced range battery produced at the Rawsonville Components Plant in Michigan.

Leading the Charge in Electric Van Sales

Ford’s E-Transit has dominated the market in sales and environmental impact. Since its introduction, the E-Transit has saved over 3 million gallons of gas and reduced CO2 emissions by more than 25 million kilograms—equivalent to planting over 413,000 tree seedlings and letting them grow for a decade.

As the Transit family celebrates its 10th anniversary in the U.S. in 2024, the E-Transit continues to build on the legacy with more than 1.2 million units assembled at KCAP, with 99% still on the road today.

SoCalGas is aiming to replace 50% of its over-the-road fleet with alternative-fuel vehicles and has select the Ford E-Transit to help with those efforts.

The 2024 Ford E-Transit, with its enhanced range and versatility, ensures that businesses can customize their vans for nearly any job, making it an essential tool for modern fleet management.

Available E-Transit Incentives and Pricing

Starting at $51,095, the 2024 E-Transit is eligible for the $7,500 federal Commercial Clean Vehicle Tax Credit, along with various state and local incentives, making it an even more attractive option for fleet managers looking to invest in the future of transportation.

With the push for electric vehicles intensifying, the E-Transit’s enhanced capabilities are set to make it a top choice for fleet managers focused on reducing costs and environmental impact.
