Ford announced that the order banks for the enhanced-range version of the Ford E-Transit are now open. (And as of September 2024, orders are shipping!)

This latest version of America's best-selling electric van offers up to 32% more range, up to 159 miles on a single charge. The dual onboard chargers deliver a charge time that's 22% faster than before when using Ford Pro's 80A Series 2 charger.

Why Fleets Choose the Ford E-Transit

The Ford E-Transit also features smart technology like the E-Telematics system, which optimizes vehicle performance with remote commands and controls, as well as in-vehicle driver assist features like Standard Lane-Keeping System, Pre-Collision Assist with AEB, and high-resolution cameras that can help enhance safety and driver confidence.

The 2024 Ford E-Transit offers versatility and customization with two lengths, three roof heights, and three body styles, with up to 487 cu. ft. of cargo volume and a maximum targeted payload of 3,997 pounds on the 2024 E-Transit Cutaway with enhanced range. It is available in more configurations than any other all-electric commercial van from a full-line automaker so that businesses can set up their E-Transit for just about any job.

Starting at $51,095 before local, state, and federal EV incentives, the E-Transit is eligible for the federal $7,500 Commercial Clean Vehicle Tax Credit. Thanks to reduced fuel, maintenance, and operating costs, Vincentric has championed it as the best fleet value in America in its category for the third consecutive year.

Enhancing the E-Transits Range for Commercial Fleet Needs

The enhanced range capability provides an estimated range of up to 159 miles with 89 kWh of usable energy, making E-Transit an ideal choice for commercial fleets, large and small, looking for electric vans capable of supporting work over longer distances. Additionally, the enhanced range offers more capability for new use cases, such as refrigerated delivery.

Did you know that since joining the Transit family, E-Transit has saved more than 3 million gallons of gas and prevented more than 25 million kilograms of carbon dioxide emissions?

This latest announcement from Ford comes as the push for electric vehicles continues to grow. With the E-Transit offering enhanced capabilities, it is sure to be a popular choice for commercial fleet managers looking to reduce their total cost of ownership while also being environmentally responsible.
