Ford F-150 Lightning Spec Updates
In late 2023, Ford Pro reported that the 2024 F-150 Lightning will have a new onboard charging configuration. The extended-range Lightning model now comes with a standard 11.5 kW onboard charger. Additionally, a fleet-only option is available to increase the onboard charger capacity to 19.2 kW.
These new offerings, along with Ford Pro's telematics software, charging solutions, and fleet financing solutions, are specifically designed to help fleet managers transition their fleets to electric vehicles. The aim is to accelerate productivity and reduce the total cost of ownership.
