Fontaine Modification Work Truck & EV Solutions has hired Jennifer Sweet as vice president of work truck sales and business development.
“With over 25 years of experience in the commercial truck industry, at the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), dealer, and equipment supplier levels, Jennifer is well-suited to grow Fontaine’s work truck industry business,” said Mike Randolph, president.
Fontaine Modification, with corporate headquarters in Charlotte and other facilities located throughout the United States, is an engineering-driven provider of post-production truck modifications for OEMs, dealers, and fleets. The Work Truck & EV Solutions division focuses on commercial vehicle modifications, as well as electrification packaging, integration, and installation solutions.
“I am genuinely excited about the tremendous possibilities we have to offer customers at Fontaine Modification,” Sweet said. “With more than 40 years of experience, Fontaine Modification understands the importance of building strong, long-term relationships with dealers and end users. In my new role, I look forward to developing and growing the work truck segment for Fontaine in this ever-changing commercial market.”
Sweet began her career at a full-line GM dealership as commercial manager selling GM light- and medium-duty vehicles. She later spent 10 years with a GM and Isuzu joint venture as a medium-duty district sales manager in the North Central and Southeast Regions.
She then joined ADP Dealer Services Truck Division, covering more than 200 dealer locations in the Midwest. She worked with Monroe Truck Equipment as a national fleet manager and Telogis, now Verizon Connect, where she gained an understanding of telematics and its crucial role in the industry. These experiences led to positions as GM business development manager, medium-duty operations manager, commercial district manager, and regional medium-duty manager for the West Coast.
Sweet is based at the Fontaine Modification Center in Springfield, Ohio.
