FleetPride is partnering with TRW for a steering gears program and acquired the assets of All Pro Truck & Trailer of Rockford, Illinois, according to the company’s press release.
The partnership with TRW launched June 1. FleetPride will stock steering gears in its five distribution centers. The company will also have a customized assortment available at its nationwide FleetPride locations.
"This partnership with TRW puts FleetPride in the unique position to offer our customers the highest quality remanufactured steering gears quickly and consistently. Now stocking in all our 280 locations, we have the quality steering gears that our aftermarket customers need to keep their trucks out of the shop and on the road," said Terri Roseman, vice president of category management for FleetPride.
TRW will use this partnership as a long-term plan to bring remanufactured steering gears and an 18-month warranty for all makes and models.
In addition to the partnership, FleetPride’s acquisition of assets from All Pro Truck & Trailer will allow the company to offer repair services for customers through northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
“All Pro Truck and Trailer will make a great addition to FleetPride and will strengthen our ability to provide end to end solutions to our customers in the Rockford and surrounding markets,” said Mike Harris, FleetPride senior VP of sales and operations. “Brian Hicks and his talented team have built a strong reputation. We are very excited to be a part of their future growth and to officially welcome our new team members to FleetPride.”
FleetPride will operate at the AllPro location as a service center. The company will also have two locations in Rockford to provide parts and service.
