Hellwig Suspension Products, a manufacturer of towing, hauling, and performance suspension products, released a new adjustable rear sway bar for 2020-2021 Chevrolet and GMC 2500 and 3500 pickup trucks.

The product is designed to reduce body roll, tighten up driving dynamics, and improve driver control, especially when towing or hauling, and fits all drive configurations, according to the manufacturer. 

The Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra HD trucks are known for their workhorse capabilities, however, are not equipped with a rear sway bar from the factory. This causes undue body roll and reduces driver control during towing or hauling conditions, according to Hellwig. 

The sway bar is forged from solid 1-1/4-inch diameter heat-treated 4140 chromoly steel and features Hellwig’s Hammertone powder coat finish. The three-hole design allows users to tune the sway bar to their preferred spring rate. 

Hellwig’s 2020-2021 Chevrolet and GMC 2500/3500 bolt-on rear sway bar (P/N 7782) includes all mounting hardware, adjustable end links to integrate with factory components and aftermarket suspension setups and polyurethane bushings. The Hellwig rear sway bar for Silverado and Sierra HD trucks is compatible with 2WD, 4WD, single rear wheel, and dually configurations.
