Hellwig Suspension Products, a manufacturer of towing, hauling, and performance suspension products, released an upgraded front sway bar for the 2019-2020 model-year Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 1/2-ton pickup trucks.

Available for both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive models, the Hellwig front sway bar is wider in diameter than the stock sway bar and reduces body roll for improved driving dynamics and more control for the driver.

Redesigned for the 2019 model-year, the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 are among the top choices in the light-duty truck market. The pickups are capable work trucks, tow rigs, and daily drivers available with a variety of powerplant options and chassis configurations, but they come equipped from the factory with an undersized front sway bar, according to Hellwig.

Hellwig’s Silverado/Sierra front sway bar (P/N 7781) is 1 3/8 inches in diameter and forged from heat treated 4140 chromoly steel. Featuring Hellwig’s signature “Hammertone” powder coat to prevent corrosion and wear, the sway bar retains the factory end links and includes polyurethane bushings for reduced noise during operation. The sway bar can be installed with simple hand tools and comes with all necessary parts and hardware.

Hellwig sway bars are made in the USA and are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
