At Work Truck Week, we caught up with Ian Hucker from GM Envolve to talk about how fleets are keeping vehicles on the road longer through connected services, telematics, and mobile service solutions. One of the biggest themes this year is uptime.

GM Envolve is expanding its Mobile Service Plus program, using vehicles such as a Chevrolet Equinox to bring service directly to customers' locations. That means fleets can handle maintenance more efficiently without always bringing vehicles back to a central shop. Connected services are also seeing major growth. OnStar fleet subscriptions increased 47% year over year, with GM now surpassing 2 million active fleet subscribers.

Features like dual-camera systems and Drive Block technology are helping fleets improve safety and prevent issues before they happen. The goal is simple: keep vehicles running longer while lowering the total cost of ownership and improving fleet support throughout the vehicle lifecycle. Watch the full conversation to hear how GM Envolve is approaching uptime, connectivity, and prevention technology for modern fleets.
