Dana Holding Corporation is introducing two Spicer third-member drop-out axle housings for Ford 9-inch applications. The new Spicer third members are available in either nodular iron or premium-grade aluminum. The nodular iron is designed for off-road routes, while the aluminum variant is better for weight savings in circle track, street rod, and other racing applications.
Both Spicer third members feature a built-in fill plug for easy maintenance, billet adjuster nuts, and an anti-stick, reusable gasket that is Teflon-coated.
