Combining rigid frame engineering with the benefits of tension fabric, Legacy Building Solutions offers the first line of fabric buildings to incorporate structural steel beams instead of open web trusses. This engineering concept provides a high level of flexibility for a variety of building applications, including vehicle maintenance shops, public works, and general storage.
Legacy buildings feature polyethylene fabric roofs that eliminate the corrosion concerns associated with metal-constructed facilities. A wide variety of PVC fabrics are also available. The fabric allows natural light to permeate the structure, reducing or eliminating the need for artificial lighting inside, according to the manufacturer. Additionally, insulation can be added to meet energy codes when required. Additionally, the structural steel has multiple coating options, including hot dip galvanizing, red oxide primer and powder coat paint.
