The Street Smart View (SSV) Extreme seven-inch color monitor is designed specifically for the refuse industry, with input from refuse professionals. The monitor features high-definition (720p) clarity. The waterproof camera is equipped with a 145-degree, wide-angle lens, microphone, and a patent pending infrared dimmer switch to minimize infrared glow. A patent pending light bar offers optimal illumination.
The new, state-of-the-art SSV Extreme nine-inch color monitor features a resistive touchscreen and an easy-to-operate, icon-based graphic user interface. Able to support up to five cameras (four of them recordable), The Extreme nine-inch system is able to support up to five cameras, with four of them recordable. It also includes fleet management software that provides high definition picture quality and video playback on incidents of impact, hard stops and turns, and much more.
An optional SSV Extreme Nexus Mobile DVR enables refuse managers to remotely view – on an iPad or iPhone – what the cameras see on each vehicle in their fleet. The system organizes playback through fleet management software to enable managers to easily monitor fleet behavior and identify high-risk driving or security incidents. The Extreme Nexus DVR can store up to 60 days worth of high-quality recordings.
The entire SSV family of products (engineered in the USA for quality and durability) comes with a comprehensive, four-year warranty. SSV is available on McNeilus refuse vehicles, and as a retrofit to any brand or model refuse truck.
