Riverside Mfg., LLC released and trademarked Intell-Fob, a passive entry and passive start system designed to withstand the harshest environments. Intelli-Fob allows drivers to unlock all or select doors/compartments without the need to take the fob out of their pocket.

With the simple push of a button or grab of the handle, the driver can unlock the door, enter the vehicle, push the start button and drive away. With Intelli-Fob's fob localization, the system knows where the fob is at all times. This tech allows for the driver to be in the back gathering items and have the piece of mind knowing someone won't be able to jump in and start the vehicle without the fob being near the driver seat.

Intelli-Fob offers several options to choose from, including push buttons or IR sensors as the triggers to unlock the door/compartment. Additional options include a no button (hands free) IP68 rated fob or a three button IP68 rated fob to have the additional capabilities to lock, unlock, and/or start the vehicle with the push of a button on the fob.

Intelli-Fob is also well-suited to use in fleet vehicles. The system can have up to eight fobs paired to a single module.
