The Michelin X One Line Energy D2 Pre-Mold retread tire is Michelin’s lowest rolling resistance heavy truck drive retread to date.
Created for long-haul transportation, it is designed to deliver fuel savings to lower the total cost of ownership, while providing exceptional traction for driver confidence.
“The Michelin X One Line Energy D2 Pre-Mold’s new ultra-low rolling resistance levels are designed to exceed SmartWay and CARB requirements,” said Pierluigi Cumo, B2B VP of Marketing for Michelin North America, Inc. “It’s compact tread design, with less flexibility in the tire tread between the tread surface and tire carcass, provides better energy conservation for greater fuel efficiency.”
The Michelin X One Line Energy D2 Pre-Mold tire is crafted to enhance the total cost of ownership by refining rolling resistance, improving mileage performance, and ensuring better resistance to irregular wear for extended tread life.
"Featuring its Regenion evolving tread design, the Michelin X One Line Energy D2 Pre-Mold tire delivers stability in all weather conditions, even when worn, which is crucial for long-haul drivers," Cumo emphasized.

Tailored for extreme winter conditions for driver confidence and security, the Michelin X One XDS Pre-Mold tire leverages the weight savings of the new generation-wide-based tire by incorporating a substantial traction retread offer.
“The Michelin X One XDS2 Pre-Mold offers the same renowned snow traction as the Michelin XDS2+ Pre-Mold tire, with its potential weight savings, providing 365 lbs. more payload than dual tires,” Cumo highlighted. “This tire is engineered to confront the harshest winters and ensure drivers and their cargo reach their destination safely.”
