The infrared scanner head reads 1D and 2D barcodes and QR codes in milliseconds from up to two feet away. Running on the Android operating system, the device supports a wide range of business applications to enhance productivity, such as 3rd party barcode scanning and logistics applications and vertical business-related applications.
The PNC560 is compliant with MIL-STD-810-G for shock and vibration meaning it is rugged and durable and can survive drops onto hard surfaces. It is also rated IP68, meeting the highest rating for dust and water protection. This industry rating means it is impervious to dust and fine powders and can be submerged under 5 feet of water for 30-minutes.
