New Hose Candy Hose Skins are now available to provide custom styling and enhanced performance under the hood.

Designed to slide over stock or custom hoses to create the ultimate tailored appearance, Hose Skins are packaged in vehicle-specific kits to ensure the best possible fit and easy installation.

Each kit includes pre-cut Hose Skins for the desired vehicle, Hose Candy Boa Clamps - new heat shrinkable clamps that tighten around hoses to create a leak proof seal correctly sized for each hose - and heat shrinkable hose end sleeves in a variety of colors.  Vehicle-specific kits come in two different skin styles:

• Diamond Back Black material is ideal for do-it-yourselfers because it can be scissor cut, features fray-resistant ends and expands for ease of installation.  The material has a melt temperature of 476 degrees Fahrenheit.

• Cobra Black Heavy Duty material is highly resistant to abrasion, cuts, common automotive and marine chemicals, UV damage and vibration.  Designed to meet or exceed military specifications A-A-59301, Cobra Black resists gas and engine chemicals, will not rot or retain moistures and has a melt temperature of 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Custom Hose Skin kits are also available and come in additional high-performance materials:

• Dragon Skin protects hoses in temperatures up to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit, making it ideal for thermal protection for hoses that are subjected to continuous and extreme temperature environments like engine manifolds and exhaust systems.  Easy to install, Dragon Skin is braided from fiberglass yarns and saturated with high temperature resins.

• Hose Candy's KEVLAR is a soft, durable skin that remains flexible through an operating temperature range of -274 degrees Fahrenheit to 320 degrees Fahrenheit.  Made from aramid fibers, Hose Candy's KEVLAR is good for protecting and bundling vulnerable components.

• Hose Candy's NOMEX Skin will protect applications in temperatures up to 662 degrees Fahrenheit.  It is unaffected by short-term exposure to most acids, bases, solvents and common engineering chemicals.  The strong, densely braided skin provides full coverage and protection.

• Carbon Fiber Skin is designed to give a unique, high-tech look, and it will not melt, burn or support combustion.  The braided skin provides a strong, bi-axial carbon fiber matrix for stiff, lightweight tubular structures up to 3 inches in diameter.

• 665 Hose Skin Wrap is engineered from aerospace-grade yarns that can withstand 1800 degree Fahrenheit direct heat and 2500 degree Fahrenheit radiant heat.  Ideal for turbo charged race engines, 665 Wrap is easy to install and resists gas and engine chemicals while looking great.
