The 2023 Ram 1500 and 2023 Honda Ridgeline were named best-of-the-best in Car and Driver's recent awards.

Car and Driver ranked the "Best Mid-Size Pickup Trucks" and "Best Full-Size Pickup Trucks" based on roughly 200 data points encompassing acceleration, handling, comfort, cargo space, fuel efficiency, value, and how enjoyable they are to drive.
Car and Driver's rankings are arrived at from the results of instrumented testing of more than 400 vehicles each year and from our expert editors' subjective impressions gained in real-world driving.
Winner, Winner: 2023 Best Mid-Size Trucks
For 2023, the following seven trucks were named as "best" of the mid-size pickup truck category:
