Toyota Announces Price Decrease on 2014 Prius Plug-In

Beginning with the 2014 model year, Toyota’s Prius Plug-in has reduced the MSRP by over $2,000 to $29,990.

Beginning with the 2014 model year, Toyota’s Prius Plug-in has reduced the MSRP by over $2,000 to $29,990 (excluding DPH). According to Toyota, this price repositioning on the base Prius Plug-in Hybrid is not accompanied by any reduction in vehicle content.

Similar to the Prius Three, the 2014 Prius Plug-in Hybrid includes these features: remote climate that allows customers to activate their A/C remotely, ability to drive extended distances in EV mode, heated cloth front seats, 10-spoke alloy wheels and an additional year of ToyotaCare roadside assistance (total of three years).

According to Toyota, pricing for the 2014 Prius Plug-in Advanced model has also been adjusted with a $4,620 reduction in MSRP to $34,905 (excluding DPH). The Prius Plug-in Advanced still offers features such as Premium HDD Navigation with Entune App Suite, eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with power lumbar support, head-up display and safety connect.

Production of the 2014 Prius Plug-in begins in October with pricing taking effect when models arrive in showrooms in November, says Toyota.
