The NTEA, the Association for the Work Truck Industry, recognized five organizations that have distinguished themselves as Member Verification Program (MVP) companies during the quarter ending December 2013. In addition, three companies have requalified for the MVP this quarter. The program currently includes 264 NTEA Member companies.
Established in 2005, the MVP recognizes truck equipment distributors, manufacturers and upfitters for their successful implementation of specified business standards and processes, and for taking significant steps to comply with applicable government regulations. Criteria to meet the MVP standards can involve liability insurance, warranty programs, vehicle and employee certification, safety policies and quality assurance.
“Through the years, we’ve seen the program increase in importance to MVP companies and their customers – including dealers, fleets and OEMs,” said NTEA Executive Director Steve Carey. “The MVP demonstrates participants’ commitment to excellence through the use of safety and quality standards. We congratulate these companies for their diligence and accomplishment.”
