Mountain Tarp, a Wastequip brand, announced John Tortorella and Robert Williams, as its new regional sales managers.

Williams will oversee the Southeast region, which includes Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Tortorella will oversee the Mid-Atlantic region, which includes Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Williams started with Wastequip in 1989 and served as the president of Dempster Equipment and the national sales manager for Go To Parts. With 33 years of sales experience in the waste industry and a background in engineering, Williams will provide product technical expertise and apply it directly to customer needs.

Tortorella served as the sales vice president for BFI Waste Systems and the area sales manager for Waste Management, where he led successful sales campaigns to engage and retain customers while sustaining profitable growth. With more than 25 years of sales experience in the waste industry, Tortorella will bring problem-solving skills to enhance customer satisfaction.

In their new roles, Tortorella and Williams will focus on expanding Mountain Tarp’s dealer network as well as growing Mountain Tarp parts sales, system installations and mobile services.
