Knapheide has reduced the weight of its KUV enclosed utility body for chassis cab vans by 650 pounds, the upfitter has announced.
The updated KUV combines a new, corrugated 14-gauge galvanneal steel floor with an ABS thermoformed cab partition. Utilizing the ABS partition nearly eliminates the rattling and road noise associated with a metal cab partition, according to the company. The move also increases payload capability.
