Kenworth Northeast Group, Inc., has made a major upgrade by relocating its full-service Kenworth Northeast – Albany dealership 12 miles north to a new location in Halfmoon, N.Y., to better serve local truck operators and Kenworth customers passing through the area.
The newly renovated, 27,000 square-foot facility in Halfmoon contains 17 service bays. The service department is supported by an 8,000 square-foot parts warehouse, more than double the space of its previous facility. The ample parts supply will better assist service technicians in their efforts to increase uptime for customers. Kenworth Northeast – Albany also features an 1,100 square-foot parts display area.
“All aspects of the facility’s design were geared around our customers and their needs,” said Craig Herron, president of Kenworth Northeast Group, Inc.
The facility sits on an approximately 5-acre lot and is within 1.5 miles of Highway 87, a major trucking route in the area. The address is 1 Rexford Way in Halfmoon, New York.
Initial hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Kenworth Northeast Group operates five dealerships in New York, including Buffalo, Elmira, Halfmoon, Rochester and Syracuse; and a Massachusetts dealership in Boston.
