J.B. Poindexter & Co. highlighted new vehicle innovations and its Demers Braun Crestline Medix ambulance acquisition during Work Truck Week 2026 in Indianapolis.

From the show floor at Work Truck Week 2026, J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc. (JBPCO) showcased what it described as its most integrated commercial-vehicle platform to date, bringing together updates across its portfolio of brands to help fleets and upfitters spec, build, and support work-ready vehicles faster. The company also spotlighted expanded online parts capabilities across several business units.
JBPCO hosted a press conference, “Proven Past. Future Driven,” featuring Founder, Chairman, and CEO John Poindexter alongside Mike Postma, president of Demers Braun Crestline Medix (DBCM), and Joe Thompson, chief operating officer of Morgan Olson. The group shared fleet and vocational trends while walking through new vehicle and service updates across the JBPCO platform.

DBCM Acquisition Expands Ambulance Portfolio
JBPCO used the show to underscore its June 2025 acquisition of Demers Braun Crestline Medix, which added one of North America’s largest ambulance manufacturers to the company’s portfolio. The acquisition brought together four ambulance brands: Demers, Braun, Crestline, and Medix, with a combined 165 years of experience serving EMS and fire markets in North America and internationally.
“We look forward to showcasing our manufacturing strength, advanced engineering, and safety innovations at Work Truck Week, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to the EMS and Fire community,” Postma said.
On the show floor, the ambulance group displayed a Braun Express Plus Type I ambulance featuring safety systems designed for crew protection, an optimized patient compartment layout intended to maximize clinical workspace, and equipment placement aimed at reducing caregiver movement and fatigue. Also on display was the Medix MSV-II Type III 170 ambulance, featuring seamless side and rear walls that do not require additional body work, along with doors that are fully formed without relying on aluminum extrusions.
Morgan Olson Showcases Kestrel Work Truck And ROUTE STAR Step Van
Morgan Olson featured the Kestrel Work Truck, a Class 2, four-wheel-drive vehicle built on the Jeep Gladiator platform. The company positioned the Kestrel as a work-ready option designed for demanding jobsite environments, particularly where maneuverability and off-road capability are priorities.

Morgan Olson said the platform supports a range of accessories and upfit options, including the Masterack UPLYFT ladder rack, LEER Bedslide, and 360-degree camera systems.
The company also had its ROUTE STAR step van on display, highlighting customizable upfit configurations intended to support utility and municipal jobsite needs across a range of vocations.
In addition, Morgan Olson highlighted updates to its online service parts webstore, noting the site has been expanded to support additional step van body manufacturers and provides real-time inventory visibility and streamlined ordering.
Reading Truck displayed a service body upfit equipped with open compartments and a rear-mounted welder/generator setup for mobile jobsite work.

Morgan Truck Body Debuts Rivetless Sidewall Technology And Parcel Van
Morgan Truck Body introduced MorganBond side wall construction technology, a rivetless, smooth sidewall designed to provide structural support while also creating a surface suited for vehicle graphics and advertising.
Morgan also unveiled a new entry-level Parcel Van positioned as a cost-effective option for urban parcel delivery. The company also promoted its online parts store, which carries Morgan genuine parts.

Reading Truck Debuts New Combo Body And RHD Additions
Reading Truck unveiled its new Combo Body, designed to combine the secure storage of a service body with the open utility of a platform body.
The company also expanded its RHD lineup with two new models, the RHD-46 and RHD-67, designed for Class 4–7 applications and combining heavy-duty construction with configurable features. Reading also showcased two crane bodies, the RM-25 and RM-45, positioned for lifting and jobsite applications.
Reading Truck noted it supports customers through 22 Reading Truck centers and a partner distribution network across the U.S. and Canada.
Masterack Highlights UPLYFT 2.0 And New Storage Concepts
Masterack displayed a van upfit featuring its UPLYFT 2.0 ladder rack and re-engineered shelving modules using a slot-and-tab design. The company said UPLYFT 2.0 uses a capstan-driven dropdown system and reduces peak operating effort by more than 80% compared with the previous generation.
Masterack also introduced a Ford Maverick-focused offering called the Cargo Guard Duo, combining a split lid tonneau cover with integrated side-access toolboxes. Another product shown was CargoPOD Pro, described as a slide-out, free-standing work module designed to integrate into a van cargo area or pickup truck bed.

LEER Spotlights NexCap Pro And Trade Package
LEER highlighted its NexCap Pro modular truck cap, an all-metal commercial cap built with precision-formed aluminum panels and a powder-coat finish. The company positioned the design for impact resistance, longer service life, and the strength to support rooftop equipment.
LEER also showcased its Heavy Duty Aluminum Truck Cap, along with its Trade Package, a turnkey setup that converts pickups into standardized mobile workstations. The Trade Package displayed at Work Truck Week included an aluminum cap, a BedSlide 1500 sliding cargo tray, and Masterack trade-specific HVAC shelving, with an optional fiberglass cap available.
