Back in Time: Jasper Acquires Last Independent Branch
From Intern to President: Jasper Engines & Transmissions
Jasper Engines & Transmissions' new president started at the company in 1992 and has worked his way up through the ranks from intern to president.

Jasper Holdings, Inc. has named a new president of Jasper Engines & Transmissions: Matt Weinzapfel.
Zach Bawel, President of Jasper Holdings, Inc., shared, "We are excited to have Matt leading Jasper Engines & Transmissions. Matt's cross-functional background of 30 years within Jasper helps bring well-rounded ideas and perspectives to our executive leadership team. We know Matt will help guide Jasper Engines & Transmissions as we continue to grow."
Working Up the Ranks
Weinzapfel began his career at Jasper in May 1992 and spent five years as an intern in branch auditing and accounting. Afterward, Weinzapfel spent six years as general manager of Jasper's Crawford County operations. He then moved on to the general manager of Gas and Diesel Engine operations for the Jasper and Crawford facilities, spending two years as a member of the Jasper Production System and three years as Diesel Division manager.
He was then named vice president of Engine Manufacturing and became the company's chief operating officer in 2022. At this time his duties were to oversee all manufacturing divisions and support services, as well as continue to lead the gas and diesel engine divisions.
