The Early Years of Federated Auto Parts
Federated Auto Parts was founded by the late Art Fisher, an industry leader and visionary. Fisher Auto Parts and Westwood Auto Parts became the first two Federated members, joining on Jan. 1, 1985.
Three additional businesses became members throughout 1985: Automotive Jobbers Supply in April and Warehouse Inc. and Auto Distributor in December.
Today, Federated has more than 80 members located throughout the United States, Canada, the Bahamas, and Mexico.
Year-Long Milestone Celebration
A yearlong celebration will include special programs, promotions, and events for Federated members, parts customers, parts suppliers, and other stakeholders. In recognition of the anniversary, Federated has created a special logo to commemorate the 40-year milestone.
“Although we will be celebrating our past throughout the coming year, we will also be looking to the future. Federated will continue to evolve and grow, embracing innovation, expanding and reinforcing partnerships, and providing exceptional value to our members and customers. The next 40 years look very bright.”
