Chrysler has released updates to its Charger, Dart, and Journey models for 2014-MY including upgraded features and a wider array of model choices within each vehicle type.
Charger
The 2014-MY Dodge Charger with 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine delivers best-in-class fuel economy in rear-wheel-drive – up to 31 miles per gallon (mpg) – and all-wheel-drive (AWD) models – up to 27 mpg, according to the automaker.
For the 2014 model-year, Charger will be getting the new Redline Package, which features 20-inch black chrome aluminum wheels with a red painted lip and inner backbone, Beats Audio, and an upgraded 3.6L Pentastar V-6 engine with sport mode, cold-air induction system, and sport-tuned exhaust raising output to 300 hp.
The Dodge Charger AWD Sport includes unique Gloss Black split-crosshair grille, polished 19-inch aluminum wheels with Gloss Black pockets; steering-wheel mounted paddle shifters with sport-mode, rear spoiler, sport seats, 300 hp V-6 or 370 hp V-8, and segment-exclusive Beats Audio.
Dart

2014-MY Dart
Chrysler is making a number of changes to its Dart compact sedan for the 2014 model-year, including offering the 2.4L Tigershark inline four-cylinder engine on a wider range of models and simplifying the model lineup.
For 2014, the automaker plans to offer the 2.4-liter Tigershark engine as standard in the Dart SXT, Limited, and GT models. This engine can produce 184 hp and 171 lb.-ft. of torque and is matched to a standard six-speed manual transmission on the SXT and GT models or available six-speed automatic transmission, which is standard on the Limited model.
For the model lineup, Chrysler plans to offer five models instead of the six offered in MY-2013. The model lineup for MY-2014 includes the SE, SXT, Aero, Limited, and GT.
Journey

2014-MY Dodge Journey Limited
The 2014-MY Dodge Journey offers the choice of four- or six-cylinder engines, five- or seven-passenger seating, and front or all-wheel drive. The Pentastar V-6 engine delivers 283 hp and up to 25 mpg.
Dodge Journey has a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $19,495 (excluding $995 destination). Dodge Journey SXT and Limited models get new option packages for 2014-MY with up to $1,345 in added value with SiriusXM Radio now available on all 2014 Dodge Journey models, according to the automaker.
The new Dodge Journey Limited model replaces the Crew model for the 2014 model-year. Standard on every Limited is the 283 hp 3.6L Pentastar V-6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission, a premium leather interior with heated steering wheel and heated seats, 19- inch aluminum wheels, bright door handles, bright roof rails, Uconnect Media Center with 8.4-inch touchscreen, dual-zone automatic temperature control, automatic headlamps, auto-dimming rearview mirror, universal garage door opener, 115-volt outlet, fold-flat front passenger seat with in-seat storage, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, premium headliner with amiable LED lamps, trip computer with outside temperature and compass, sun visors with illuminated mirrors, remote start, automatic temperature control and security alarm. Also available is AWD and seven-passenger seating.
