Buyers Products has announced the hire of Jim Nerone as its new director of Information Services & Business Intelligence.
Buyers Products has announced the hire of Jim Nerone as its new director of Information Services & Business Intelligence.
In this role, Nerone is responsible for developing and implementing the strategy and infrastructure that will help execute Buyers’ Strategic Objectives. As an information director, Nerone plans to develop a deep understanding of products, markets, and operations in order to intelligently leverage technology to improve supply and financial performance. Nerone’s hiring is a continuation of Buyers Products’ Enterprise Leadership Agenda initiative.
Prior to joining Buyers, Nerone spent more than a decade developing strategies for the manufacturing, transportation, distribution, and materials management industries. Most recently, Nerone served as Director of Information & Analysis at ERICO.
“We are excited to welcome Jim to the Buyers Products team,” said Brian T. Smith, COO of Buyers Products Company. “With a unique educational background in mechanical engineering and more than 15 years of experience, Jim brings an excellent skill set in leadership and creating solutions.”
Nerone earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and a master’s of business administration from Case Western Reserve University.
