Bobcat Company, a global equipment, innovation, and worksite solutions brand, is introducing the PG1140 portable generator, which delivers enhanced output, simplified logistics, and advanced load management in a single portable power generator package.
“The Bobcat PG1140 integrates two PG570 portable generators into a single, 48-foot trailer, combining power output while significantly reducing transport and setup costs,” said Bobby Ranker, product specialist II, Bobcat Company. “It’s designed to withstand rigorous applications while ensuring reliability, operator well-being and productivity at every stage.”
Powered by 2 Cummins X15 Engines
Powered by dual Cummins X15 engines featuring the latest performance technology, the PG1140 operates without exhaust gas recirculation (EGR). This design eliminates the need for a minimum load and ensures reliable performance even in temperatures as low as -13°F (-25°C).
Large Fuel & DEF Capacity
With over 1,300 gallons of onboard fuel and 92 gallons of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), the PG1140 offers more than 27 hours of runtime at 75% load. This extended capacity minimizes refueling needs and maximizes operational uptime. An oversized alternator ensures stable power output and supports applications with high motor starting demands.
Improved Operator Protection
The trailer’s high clearance and modular safety railings with ladder improve site mobility and operator protection. Ground-accessible switchgear and controls simplify operation, while the trailer also accommodates power distribution equipment such as cabling and spider boxes behind the switchgear to streamline logistics.
Key Features of the Bobcat PG1140
Bobcat said the additional features of the PG1140 portable generator include:
Delivers 1140 kVA (912 kW) at 60 Hz frequency
Link board panel for flexible voltage configuration
Shore power access for block heaters and battery chargers
Tier 4 final emissions
The PG1140 is available at Bobcat dealerships across North America.
