Auto Truck Group Begins Transit Connect Ship-Thru
The Auto Truck Group will begin using its New Jersey facility to offer ship-through services for the Transit Connect compact van under a new agreement with Ford, the upfitter has announced.

The Auto Truck Group will begin using its New Jersey facility to offer ship-through services for the Transit Connect compact van under a new agreement with Ford, the upfitter has announced.
As part of the agreement with Ford, the Bartlett, Ill.-based upfitter will equip Transit Connect vans that arrive at the Port of Newark. The vans will be sent to Auto Truck Group's Maple Shade Township facility. Once complete, the vehicles will be returned to the port to be entered into Ford’s transportation system and sent to the customer's end destination.
Customers will use the New Jersey ship-through code (31T/D91).
