MASSILLON, OHIO – Truck cap and tonneau cover manufacturer A.R.E. has made available its LSX
and LSII fiberglass tonneau covers for the 2008 Ford Super Duty.
A.R.E.’s
LSII Series tonneau comes equipped with a Lift Assist gas strut system that
makes it easy to open and close. A painted palm-grip handle blends with the
LSII body for a sleek appearance, and an easy twist of the wrist easily
unlatches the tonneau. A key lock is standard. Optional equipment for A.R.E.’s
LSII fiberglass tonneau includes a battery-operated dome light, sport wing, and
remote keyless entry system.

LSX
Series tonneau covers feature spring-assisted scissor hinge technology that
opens the tonneau cover both up and away from the cab at the same time as well
as an ergonomically designed clamping system that is color-coded, matching the
rail of the tonneau cover for an improved original equipment appearance. Designed
with a trimless edge on the fiberglass for a cleaner, more streamlined look,
the LSX comes with a 100 percent foss lining to cover the interior and wiring
to give the underside a professional finish.
The LSII
and LSX are painted to meet the customer’s specifications through a
state-of-the-art vehicle color matching system, and both the cover and its
painted finish are backed by a limited lifetime warranty from A.R.E. for the
life of the original pickup truck it is installed on.
