AP Fleet Management officially opened its new Midland, Texas, location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on May 20, marking the company’s latest expansion in the Permian Basin.
The new facility will operate as a full-service fleet hub supporting customers across Texas with rental, leasing, and financing options for vocational vehicles and commercial fleet equipment.
The Midland location includes inventory ranging from bucket trucks and crane trucks to pickup trucks, cargo vans, and passenger vans. The company said the new site will also improve turnaround times for custom upfitting, as well as delivery and pickup services designed to reduce downtime for customers.
Faster Access to Vocational Equipment
“Opening in Midland is a natural fit for us,” said Alex Coveney, president of AP Fleet Management. “The Permian Basin is home to some of the hardest-working industries in the country, and those businesses deserve a fleet partner that can keep up.”
Coveney added that the new location allows AP Fleet Management “to be closer to our Texas customers delivering faster, more responsive service with the custom-built solutions they need to get the job done.”
The company said the Midland facility is part of its broader national expansion strategy and strengthens support for industries operating throughout West Texas, including the oil and gas and infrastructure sectors.
“The Permian Basin operates at the speed of business, and the industries here can't afford a fleet partner that's playing catch-up,” Coveney said. “Opening in Midland puts AP Fleet Management on the ground where it matters most to deliver purpose-built fleet solutions for oil and gas, infrastructure, and the growing range of industries driving West Texas forward.”
AP Fleet Management is part of AP Equipment Financing and provides rental, leasing, and financing solutions for commercial fleets and vocational equipment nationwide.
