Why The Upfit of the Year Award Matters

Upfits aren’t just accessories — they’re operational game-changers. Whether it’s shelving that saves time on the job site or a package that levels up driver safety, we’re recognizing the innovations that solve real-world challenges for today’s light- and medium-duty fleets.

This award highlights the people behind those solutions: the upfitters designing smarter, more impactful vehicle packages for trucks, vans, and SUVs.

Winners will be recognized at Work Truck Week 2026, with entries voted on by real commercial fleet managers.

What You Need to Submit

To be eligible, your upfit package must be used in real-world applications. You can submit up to three packages, but we recommend spreading them across different vehicle types, if applicable.

  • Vehicle Category: Specify if your package is for light-/medium-duty trucks (Class 1-6), vans, or SUVs.
