2013 Ram 1500 Named <i>Motor Trend’s</i> Truck of the Year

Motor Trend magazine has named the all-new 2013 Ram 1500 its 2013 Truck of the Year.
Motor Trend’s editors evaluated the vehicle based on six criteria, including design advancement, engineering excellence, efficiency, safety, value and performance of its intended function. The editors chose the Ram 1500 for its air suspension, its choice of engines, its variety of trim levels and its towing capability.
The 2013-MY Ram 1500 gets 25 mpg and offers two engine choices, including the 5.7L HEMI V-8 engine or the Pentastar V-6. Other new features include a new frame, new TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission and Chrysler’s next-generation Uconnect access infotainment system.
