Link's Swivel Ramp Provides Loading Flexibility

Link, a manufacturer of truck suspensions, lift axles, and accessory products, has put a new twist on aluminum ramps.

With its full 180-degree rotation, the Link Swivel Ramp offers flexibility for loading and unloading any sized cargo, according to the company. The swivel ramp mounts in the rear stored position like a traditional ramp, but it can also be stored behind the wheel well — providing options for specific loading needs.

When not in use, the ramp rotates outside of the vehicle for unobstructed access, which is beneficial when loading space is at a premium, says the company.

Link has also incorporated efficiency and safety into its swivel ramp design, says the company. The primary latching module is removable to provide open floor space for loading oversized cargo. Additionally, the quick-release lever enables the ramp to be unlatched when stored in the wheel well position, without requiring users to bend, lift, or enter the vehicle.

Designed and manufactured in the United States, the swivel ramp is available in widths from 30 inches to 47 inches and lengths from 99 inches to 117 inches.

The American Work Cover, a toolbox and roll cover combination, brings two products together to create a beneficial work truck combination, says the company. This multifunctional product includes the combination of the roll cover and a sheet-metal sectioned toolbox; OEM-grade locking mechanisms; two removable sliding trays; and LED cargo lighting. Remote locking options are available.

Additionally, Truck Covers offers its American Truck Rack product line. The ladder rack can be installed to the bedrails of pickups without drilling. Weighing about 60 pounds, the rack can carry up to 500 pounds and be used with a roll-top cover, says the company.

Techno-Fab specializes in designing, selling, and assembling ladder and stepladder racks for commercial vehicles.

The company’s aluminum rack products include a pickup rack, side rack, and high roof rack. The pickup rack features a clamp down for the ladder, an adjustable rear rack, and a customizable cab guard, according to the company. No welding or drill installation is needed. Mounted accessories include flashers and a work light.

The side rack is a one-size-fits-all rack for ladders and step ladders. It can be installed on the left or right side of the vehicle. The side rack provides easy access to a ladder on high vans and panel trucks, according to the company. The rack can be locked for safety and anti-theft.

The high roof rack can be placed on high-roof cargo vans. It features a single movement operation with no gaz spring, says the company.

Ladder racks can be adapted to a fleet vehicle’s specific needs. Techno-Fab also offers accessories such as beacons, lighting arrows, and footstools.

DECKED revolutionizes in-vehicle storage and organization for fleet businesses with a weatherproof and ergonomic solution for full-size pickups and cargo vans.

The DECKED system features two full bed-length drawers — capable of carrying 200 pounds each — that glide on industrial-grade wheels beneath a 2,000-pound payload-rated deck, according to the company.

The system is constructed from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and American recycled steel, and users get ergonomic access to tools and equipment while maintaining full use of their pickup bed’s footprint.  Storage is customizable, and once the system is assembled, it can be installed and removed with no drilling. This can help maximize fleet flexibility and vehicle remarketing value, says the company.

DECKED increases productivity and reduces injuries by putting critical tools and gear at tailgate height, according to the company. Drawers are weatherproof, and the system itself is resistant to extreme temperature fluctuations, moisture, and exposure to chemicals like lubricants and solvents.

DECKED provides accessories, including trays and dividers, rack mounts, and locks. All items are 100% made in the U.S.

Reading Truck Body, a manufacturer of truck bodies, has unveiled its new tailgate product, the Redi-Gate.

Redi-Gate’s concealed storage space design can be utilized across multiple lines of business. According to Reading, the patent pending Redi-Gate was developed to meet requests for additional, accessible storage space.

Redi-Gate is available in aluminum, and the depth has increased by 4 inches but doesn’t block the loading space of the truck body. With a compartment size of 44 inches wide, 11 inches tall, and 4 inches deep, the Redi-Gate storage space can hold small tools, says the company.

Reading engineers made sure that when open, the Redi-Gate lays level with the cargo space, which promotes safety when loading, according to the company.

The Redi-Gate is offered in the standard EX (extra space) model or the advanced EXP (extra space + power) model, which includes four integrated weather-resistant power outlets.

At the Work Truck Show, the Redi-Gate was displayed on a Ram 3500 truck.

Ranger Design Introduces Van Partition

Ranger Design has introduced its new Max View Clear Top Composite safety partition to separate cargo from the passenger cabin in vans such as the Transit Connect, Mercedes-Benz Metris, and Ram ProMaster City.

Built from thermoformed ABS and polycarbonate, the contoured partition is engineered to resist maximum impact and provides a clear view for better driver visibility.

Designed to be rattle free, it can increase cabin comfort for drivers by reducing noise, vibration, and harshness.
Other features include 180-degree rear visibility that reduces blind spots, full seat travel and maximum cargo floor space, and a tighter fit to improve climate control.

The partition’s clear top makes the cab of a small van feel more spacious. “It allows a driver to feel a greater sense of openness,” said Steve Milizia, sales manager at Ranger Design.
