The B4 Ride & Drive Event, hosted by Bollinger Motors ran from September 12-22.
The event offered an opportunity to get behind the wheel of the upfit Bollinger B4 Chassis Cab — an all-new, all-electric Class 4 commercial truck.
The B4 Chassis Cab represents Bollinger Motors' entry into the ever-evolving electrified commercial vehicle landscape.
The B4 Ride & Drive Event took place at the Mcity Test Facility on the University of Michigan's North Campus, which serves as a purpose-built proving ground for early-stage testing of emerging vehicles and technologies.
The Mcity location provided attendees with a real-world driving experience behind the wheel of the B4 Chassis Cab, available in several upfitted versions.
Spread across the facility's 16 acres of private roads and traffic infrastructure, participants navigated complex urban, suburban, and rural environments.
The experience exposed them to various road surfaces, including pavement, metal grids, and gravel. They even had the opportunity to drive through a simulated underpass and stop at a railroad crossing.
This setting allowed participants to put the B4 Chassis Cab through its paces in a controlled yet dynamic environment, showcasing its adaptability to diverse driving conditions.
