CURT was founded in 1993 by Curt Tambornino. The company's first products were trailer balls and ball mounts. Today, CURT manufactures more than 1,000 different custom-fit hitch models, offering a vehicle-specific fit for nearly every make and model on the road. Each one of these hitches is made on American soil at our headquarters in Eau Claire, Wis., and each model is tested at the company's research and development facility in Wixom, Mich. In addition, the majority of CURT's custom wiring and many more products are made in Eau Claire. Wis.

This year, the company celebrates its 25th anniversary of American manufacturing.
