The Indiana Convention Center has closed its doors on another Work Truck Week, and this one set the bar even higher. If you were there, you felt the energy. And if you missed it (don’t worry) we’ve got the highlights.

More than 16,400 work truck professionals from 31 countries and all 50 states packed the show floor. With 549 companies exhibiting across 500,000 square feet, this was the largest Work Truck Week to date. From new vehicle unveilings to hands-on upfit demos, the show floor buzzed with deals, networking, and innovation.

And yes, if your legs were tired by the end, you’re not alone. Over two days, I logged 38,000 steps. Comfortable shoes weren’t just a suggestion, they were survival gear.

Vans Take the Spotlight

Remember when compact vans were “on the way out”? Not anymore. Vans made a strong comeback this year, with a wide range of models and solutions front and center. Attendees even joked that the event could’ve been renamed the “Work Truck and Van Show.”

Across the board, vans are being reimagined for modern work, with more storage, more powertrain options, and more ways to support evolving fleet needs.

Efficiency Leads the Charge

Whether in vehicle design, upfit strategy, or software solutions, one trend rang loud and clear: efficiency matters.

Manufacturers and solution providers are focusing on doing more with less: less weight, less downtime, and less guesswork. From lightweight materials improving fuel economy to telematics tools that streamline routing, the goal is clear: make the fleet manager’s job easier and the driver's day smoother.

The Real Power Behind the Trucks

Work Truck Week is known for cutting-edge equipment and new launches, but the people make it truly special.

The sense of collaboration was clear throughout the event, from manufacturers and upfitters to fleet managers and technicians. Whether it was first-time attendees soaking up knowledge or longtime pros reconnecting, this year’s theme was connection. Conversations weren’t just about products, they were about solving real-world challenges.

We captured some of those moments in a special video celebrating the people behind the fleet industry. Don’t miss it.

Looking Ahead to 2026

Mark your calendars: Work Truck Week returns to Indianapolis March 10-13, 2026.
