Kingbee Vans has completed its acquisition of Fluid Truck to ensure the continued availability of vehicles for commercial fleets, offer more rental options, and improve the customer experience. The move is designed to help businesses that rely on fleet vehicles adapt to changing market conditions and stimulate economic growth.
“We see an opportunity to leverage each company’s strengths,” said Scott Haslam, CEO of Kingbee Vans. “Our ability to deliver upfitted vehicles quickly on a flexible contract, combined with Fluid Truck’s technology and geographic footprint of over 50 locations around the country, will make rental units more accessible to customers. This particularly applies to last-mile logistics companies who are experiencing a surge in demand created by the exponential growth of e-commerce and retail home delivery.”
Acquisition Expands Fleet Solutions for Growing Businesses
This acquisition supports Kingbee’s mission to provide work-ready rentals to customers across the nation as quickly as possible. By integrating Fluid Truck’s technology platform and nationwide network of physical hubs, Kingbee will reduce logistical hurdles and improve access to its upfitted vehicle rentals.
The combined company will better meet the needs of industries like logistics, construction, and home services, which rely on scalable and flexible fleet solutions.
Fleet ownership has become increasingly capital-intensive, and many businesses are seeking alternatives to grow their operations without the high costs of purchasing and maintaining vehicles. The acquisition addresses this need by expanding rental options that allow businesses to scale efficiently and cost-effectively.
“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to both teams for getting this done. This would not have been possible without the tireless work and dedication of so many, and I look forward to seeing what we’ll accomplish together,” Haslam concluded.
