In this episode, Lauren Fletcher opens the boxes, checks out the components, and gets the first real look at the parts that will eventually turn into a fully built soap box derby car. This is the starting line for Team Fletcher’s journey to Akron as part of the Corporate Soap Box Derby Challenge.
Over the next several episodes, you’ll see the entire process unfold: the theme reveal (yes, it’s big), the design and fabrication process, testing under pressure, and race day at Derby Downs in Akron. This project is about more than just racing down the hill. All proceeds from the Corporate Derby Challenge support The Hourglass Foundation and its mission to invest in the industry’s future.
