PIAA Corporation’s new 530 Series LED fog and driving lamps offer greatly improved lighting and beam control over competitive LED lamps and conventional halogen lamps. Central to the performance of these new 3½-inch diameter LED lamps is PIAA’s exclusive Reflector Facing Technology (RFT).

Rodger Wagner, executive vice president for PIAA (pronounced ′-uh), says the company’s introduction of RFT for its lines of aftermarket LED automotive lamps represents a giant leap forward in LED lamp design; one that can deliver major benefits to drivers.

Wagner says, “With RFT, PIAA has departed from long-held industry notions of how to cast light from vehicles. LED, HID and halogen lamps have traditionally lit road and off-road surfaces with forward-facing bulbs. But for the PIAA 530 LED lamps we achieved improved lighting results by, first, facing the bulbs rearward and then using a computer-designed multi-surface reflector to redirect the intensified LED light forward, and with much improved beam control.” Wagner adds that the improved visibility offered by PIAA 530 LED lamps helps promote a higher measure of safety for drivers. At its furthest point in providing nighttime visibility, the 530 LED driving lamps provide a 20-degree spread of light, and the 530 LED fog lamps provide a 70-degree spread of light.

PIAA’s advanced LED technology offers the color temperature of H.I.D. and the precise beam pattern of a halogen, but with much lower power consumption, more compact size, and greater durability. Such lighting attributes are especially important among sport compact enthusiasts, off roaders and long-distance drivers, says Wagner.

Each PIAA 530 LED lamp uses two long-life, rearward-facing 3-watt LED bulbs, which produce a very white beam with a color temperature of 6000 Kelvin. The 530 LED lamps also feature cast-aluminum housings with polycarbonate lens.

PIAA offers the 530 Series LED lamps in true fog and long-range driving beam patterns. Each lamp kit includes two lamps and pre-wired harness with fuse and switch. The lamps are available for virtually every make and model of car, truck, and SUV on the road today. PIAA 530 LED Fog Lamp Kit (PN# 5370): MSRP $279.00. PIAA 530 LED Driving Lamp Kit (PN# 5372): MSRP $299.00.

Every PIAA customer enjoys the benefits of The PIAA Advantage, which features advanced technology from the best minds worldwide, lamps and bulbs for virtually every type of vehicle, and race-proven quality and durability supported by a Limited Lifetime Warranty on many products. Motorists, off-roaders, and racers have access to technical and product support unmatched in the industry.
