Vanair’s 4x4 Ford Super Duty PTO system featuring exclusive Thru-Drive technology provides fleets flexibility in a 4x4 underdeck system.
Specifically designed for Ford F-Series trucks, this system eliminates the need for a split shaft system by directly connecting the PTO to the compressor through the Ford transfer case. This unique design resolves the issues of underhood air compressors or engine modifications that may void engine warranty and does not tap into the engine’s coolant system, according to the company.
Equipped with a capacity range of 90-200 CFM, 100-175 PSI Thru-Drive has proven reliability. This system is the shaft access solution.
