Volkswagen's e-Golf plug-in electric compact car will arrive at dealer lots in the fourth quarter of 2014 as the automaker's first fully electric vehicle offered in the U.S.
The 2015 model-year e-Golf hatchback, which was introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show, uses a lithium-ion battery to power its 115 horsepower motor that generates 199 lb.-ft. of torque. The e-Golf has a range of 70 to 90 miles per charge.
