Volkswagen is adding itself to the list of automakers who offer an all-electric vehicle to U.S. buyers with the 2015 e-Golf, which it brought to the Los Angeles Auto Show this week.
The electric version of the Golf, a compact car offered since 1974, uses a lithium-ion battery and 115 horsepower motor. Top speed is limited to 87 mph.
