Stellar Industries, Inc. has successfully closed on the purchase of the assets of American Crane, Incorporated (ACI) and Tire Trucks International (TTI), both located in Garner, Iowa.

Stellar plans to incorporate the operations of both companies with their current production capabilities as well as to selectively refurbish used service truck equipment. Many of the former employees of ACI have been hired by Stellar to assist with the purchase transition as well as ongoing operations. 

John Collins, President and Owner of both companies, plans to take some time off to relax and adjust to the slower pace he plans for his future lifestyle.

“I plan to take a break from the industry for the next six months or so and not be involved in anything equipment related,” says Collins.  “After that, I plan to take advantage of my agreement with Stellar and stay out of equipment design, manufacturing and repair, but continue to provide training on the proper operation of OTR [over-the-road] cranes and equipment.”

Stellar sales, service, and purchasing will now be the contact for all ACI customer and supplier inquiries.
