READING, PA - Penske Truck Leasing announced the opening of a 6,600-square-foot Albuquerque, N.M. facility. Penske offers full-service truck leasing, consumer and commercial rental, and contract maintenance services.
Housed on nearly four acres, the one-story building features two service bays and a wireless technology component that allows Penske service technicians to integrate various vehicle diagnostic and repair software.
To save energy and improve the environment special light bulbs with ballasts using 50 percent less energy, and astronomical timers, have been installed.
"This location contains a piece of history," stated Peter Weeks, Senior Vice President - West Region, Penske Truck Leasing. "This Penske facility is the former site of a Route 66 truck stop that serviced the men and women of the transportation industry for many years. We kept the building's structure, and modernized it. In an effort to tap into the western area of Albuquerque, Penske decided to expand and capitalize on new opportunities."
Rental hours of service are Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Service department hours are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
