Penske Appoints new Managing Director for Mexico
Penske Logistics, a provider of third-party logistics and supply chain management solutions, announced the appointment of Michael Casidy to the newly created position of managing director of Mexico.
Penske Logistics, a provider of third-party logistics and supply chain management solutions, announced the appointment of Michael Casidy to the newly created position of managing director of Mexico.
Penske Logistics has been operating in Mexico for 17 years and currently employs more than 1,000 associates in the country serving a variety of leading manufacturers within the automotive sector.
Casidy has been with Penske Logistics for 14 years and served in a variety of operational leadership roles. Most recently, he was based in Texas and served as Penske’s distribution center management product line leader for the company’s Western Region.
In his new role, Casidy will be responsible for leading and growing logistics business in Mexico. He will be based in Saltillo, Mexico, which will now function as the Mexico headquarters for Penske Logistics. Casidy holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas. He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and holds a Lean Certification from Georgia Tech.
Penske Logistics provides a variety of logistics solutions for manufacturers and shippers in Mexico. These include cross-border shipments via truck, intermodal shipments, transportation and carrier management, distribution center and warehouse management, lead logistics, cross-docking, and in-plant material follow-up.
