N.Y. Utility Signs Software Deal with Chevin Fleet Solutions

Chevin Fleet Solutions recently signed an agreement to provide its web-based fleet management software to Central Hudson Gas & Electric.
The electric and gas utility provider will use Chevin’s FleetWave to manage its fleet of more than 900 pieces of equipment across its operating regions and offices. FleetWave will ultimately become Central Hudson Gas & Electric’s enterprise fleet management information system, integrating with their enterprise financial platform as well as multiple fuel management platforms.

Chevin’s web-based enterprise fleet management information software, FleetWave is used to manage more than 800,000 vehicles around the world. Recent contract signings in the utility sector include Pike Electric, DC Water, Northeast Utilities, Washington Gas, Penn West, Henkels & McCoy, NESCO Equipment and more.
Central Hudson Gas & Electric is a regulated transmission and distribution utility serving approximately 300,000 electric customers and 78,000 natural gas customers in a defined service territory of New York State’s Mid-Hudson River Valley.
