New NTEA Logo
INDIANAPOLIS - The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) is excited to celebrate its evolution as an organization by unveiling a new logo. The new logo, which uses the acronym NTEA, a bold tagline "The Association for the Work Truck Industry" and simple graphic, is a strong mark for this progressive organization. The new logo is now visible on www.ntea.com.
NTEA Executive Director Jim Carney stated, "We have a new look, but remain the same progressive Association that is committed to providing our members with support, services and information they can trust."
For more than 47 years, the NTEA has continually grown and broadened its scope, in anticipation of and in response to the continuously changing needs of its members and the work truck industry. To address the ways in which the Association has changed and to provide an eye to the future, the NTEA Board of Trustees approved and commissioned the development of a new logo as an outcome of one of the largest marketplace research studies the industry has ever undertaken.
The new NTEA logo revealed at The Work Truck Show 2011 in Indianapolis, is a simple, yet powerful mark. The new logo and descriptive tagline mark a period of transition and advancement, strongly reflecting the status of the organization and the full spectrum of the industry now being served. It was designed with the understanding that it would need to resonate with both the history of the Association while reflecting the leading organization and progressive industry the NTEA represents today.

The Association's previous logo was created back in 1979 based on the changing work truck industry from its humble beginning when the organization was formed in 1964. Throughout the years, the NTEA has continually improved the service offerings to members. It has, is and will continue to be a progressive, trusted and exclusive organization ever vigilant to the threats that impede members' operations and ever changing to meet members' evolving needs.
