Ed Pierce, ARI’s vice president of branding and global marketing, has received NAFA Fleet Management Association’s first-ever Fleet Excellence Award (FLEXY) for Affiliate of the Year. ARI is a global fleet services provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets.
“I am deeply honored to receive the first Affiliate of the Year award as a representative of ARI and our parent company Holman Automotive,” Pierce said. “NAFA gives affiliates and members the opportunity to learn from each other and collaboratively develop strategies that improve both individual businesses and the fleet industry as a whole.”
NAFA’s Affiliate of the Year FLEXY recognizes the recipient’s ongoing commitment to the association, its partners and its members.
“Ed’s unwavering support has impacted NAFA on countless levels,” said NAFA’s Executive Director Phil Russo, CAE. “ARI has been one of NAFA’s biggest supporters, especially over the past five years, with heavy involvement in national as well as chapter committees, product and seminar development, and conference space and sponsorship, and that is due in no small part to Ed’s dedication and focus.”
Comprised of seven individual awards, the Fleet Excellence Awards shine a spotlight on those who have impacted the fleet industry in the both corporate and public segments throughout Canada and the United States. Nominations are reviewed by a panel of industry leaders including fleet managers, fleet management professionals, and members of the fleet industry.
Pierce is currently a member of NAFA’s Affiliates Committee and is involved with several other initiatives. Previously, Pierce served on NAFA’s Editorial Advisory Council, as well as both the Education Development and Curriculum Committees.
